best gun for hunting yotes 12 gauge w/ 00 buck or 22 mag with hollow

12 gauge chambered in 3 inch mags and planning on using federals 00 buck shot or a .22 mag with CCi hollow points. which would be better to use for night time calling?

Use BB's in the 12 guage. 00 buck will cause alot of damage. Also be careful with the 22 magnum. It will kill the coyote, but you will only retrieve some of the coyotes. It doesn't pack quite enough punch to knock them down quickly. Too many times I've walked 500-1000+ yards following blood trails and never found the coyote. If I were to pick one gun to use it would be the 12 guage with BB's
