Coyote dens look like badger holes except that they usually have more than 1 hole and have VERY distinct trails from hole to hole. Most times a coyote will use an old badger hole as its den and sometimes dig another enterance. When the pups come out of the den, you will see lots of small holes from them learning to dig.
